Quu Inc., a pioneer in adding dynamic visuals to radio broadcasts, announces respected radio executives Suzy Schultz and Ben Husmann have joined its leadership team. Schultz has been named Head of Marketing, and Husmann is Quu’s new Product Manager. Both individuals report directly to Chief Executive Officer Steve Newberry.

Quu enables radio stations to publish sales and programming messages on car dashboards as often as they want. These Visual Quus sync with on-air content and drive immediate incremental revenue by adding text and images.

Schultz’s marketing and content production company Creative Prism has been tapped to oversee branding, communications, marketing strategy, productization, and sales enablement for Quu customers. Prior to starting her shop, Schultz held many leadership positions in media, including SVP of Corporate Marketing for Cumulus | Westwood One and Managing Editor of iHeartRadio.

As Quu’s Product Manager, Husmann will advance Quu’s software and services to the next level of performance. Husmann joins Quu from his position as COO at AccuRadio. Husmann was also SVP of Product and Technology for TagStation and NextRadio, working hand in hand with industry leaders to extend the reach of broadcast radio and make it look great.

“My role is to help create a world-class experience for our customers—making it quick, easy, and painless for stations to enhance their programming and advertising metadata and visuals for the car dashboard and beyond,” said Husmann. “I’m excited to collaborate with the elite team at Quu to build a new and improved user experience on top of Quu’s extensive capabilities.”

“Developing a consistent, clarified, and fresh approach to Quu’s brand and messaging is a dream come true,” said Schultz, CEO/Founder of Creative Prism. “We’re focused on empowering Quu’s customers and offering the industry access to ratings and revenue growth opportunities that build on radio’s core product.”

“Suzy and Ben are respected executives and creative problem solvers known for leading innovation in audio,” said Newberry. “With deep industry knowledge, they’re uniquely qualified to fortify the significant expansion of Quu’s software and services rolling out later this year.”

These new hires are the latest in a series of big moves at Quu since Steve Newberry took the company’s helm last year. Earlier this month, Quu and Bonneville International announced a multi-market partnership. In June, Quu announced a noteworthy integration with vCreative, and in May 2021, Quu announced Jackie Bart and Joe Marshall joined Quu to lead the company’s Success Team.
