Oct 9, 2024 | Press Release

Sam Rogers to Head “QuuVN,” Targeting National Brands with Visual Ad Solutions

Washington D.C. — 10/9/24 —  Quu Inc., the trusted industry leader providing easy deployment of visual content for radio, announces the Quu Visual Network (QuuVN), a new division bringing the power of Visual Quus to national advertisers. Industry veteran Sam Rogers, well-known for his radio and media sales expertise, will lead the division, reporting directly to Quu’s CEO, Steve Newberry.

Launching in collaboration with Quu’s clients, QuuVN’s mission is to grow demand for visual advertising in local markets. Through the network’s broad reach, major brands can engage listeners with Quu’s patented Content Partnership and other sponsorships that deliver non-intrusive, high-impact sales messages on dashboard screens.

With decades of experience in corporate partnerships and strategic sales, Sam is well-equipped to help brands understand the power of visual content on radio. His prior leadership roles at Audacy, CBS Radio, Radio One, and Cumulus Media, deep relationships with top U.S. brands, and skill in scaling networks will be key to expanding the market for in-dash messaging.

“We’re focused on driving growth for our partners and the industry. By highlighting the unique value of Quus, we can create new pathways for growth,” said Sam Rogers, EVP/Quu Visual Network. “This isn’t about competing for ad budgets—it’s about bringing in new money. Visual advertising is an untapped revenue stream for radio stations, and we’re looking to realize its potential.”

“We aim to create opportunities for every Quu client by educating agencies and CMOs on the impact of visual content, whether for local, regional, or national campaigns,” said Steve Newberry, CEO of Quu. “Sam’s leadership will be instrumental in attracting and motivating brand marketers to increase their investment in radio.”
