Father’s Day spending hit $20 billion in 2021

This year’s annual Father’s Day Survey by Prosper Insights & Analytics found consumers plan to spend a record $174 on average on gifts for dads, granddads and other father figures in their lives.

With record-setting plans, consumers are eager to celebrate

46% plan to gift a special outing such as dinner, brunch or another fun activity
40% plan to buy Father’s Day gifts online
33% plan to buy Father’s Day gifts from a department store
